Videos from my YouTube channel or just from wherever
I do my own video clips for a couple of reasons:
1) to support friends and family who can't make it to a studio for a class.
2) Since I do yoga myself in 10 or 15 minute increments throughout the day, I thought you might enjoy trying this too. It brings balance to my day and I hope it does to yours!
I'll also include some great clips from other teachers that I follow that I'm sure you'll fall in love with too.
If I don't upload all the great clips. Search YouTube for the following teachers:
- Clara Roberts-Oss
- Megan Currie
- Adi Amar
- Neesha Zollinger
- Kira Ryder
- Tara Styles
- Kreg Weiss

Homework Between Classes (for Amir)
Here is a little something for my friend Amir. He requested some poses for between classes so he can practice at home. Hope this gentle practice helps, Amir!
Breaking Down - Crow Pose
Crow Pose is daunting when you first try it. It feels as though you might nose dive. Worse than the face plant, would be the embarrassment of falling - right? Well, that's what I thought until I didn't give a crap anymore about how I looked. It was when the mind is all freaked out that the body prepares for something bad to happen. But when the mind is carefree and curious, the body is more willing to explore. I hope you have fun with this and just let yourself fly, or fall, or whatever you need to do. Warm up first with my warm up videos.
Cheers!

Open Hips & Open Heart to Create Room for Kindness
When we feel open and expansive in our body, our minds open and our hearts open. What better time than the holidays to practice kindness. It leads us to compassion for ourselves and others, which just feels down-right good. Happy Holidays! Happy Hips and Hearts! Enjoy.
Chair Yoga (coffee break time!)
Do you have to sit at a desk all day? Do you come home from work and sit at the dinner table? Do you leave the dinner table and sit in front of the TV? Are you sitting right now? GREAT! Let's do yoga!
You might need a scarf or belt or yoga strap, and you'll want to have 2 chairs for this class.
*this class is great for those with mobility issues too and might find it difficult to get down onto the floor for yoga.

Meet Kim from Koi Yoga Studio
I met with Kim from Koi Yoga Studio in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Kim is a Marma Therapist and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist. Her knowledge and treatments have helped me to become pain free from shoulder issues I've had resulting from scoliosis. She's also helped me to balance my energy and my sense of well being. I hope you take time to view this video and maybe get a chance to meet her yourself. She's a pretty special lady, indeed! Her studio is really lovely and I know it'll make you feel right at home.
Quick Flow for my Bro
My brother needed a bit of yoga to help him manage the sanity that is his life. Hope this increases your heart rate a smidge and creates space in the body.
Acro Yoga Demonstration
Acro yoga is exactly what you might think it is...fun, entertaining, and amazing to watch and do. It looks like Cirque do Soleil, but it's so much more. Acro is the ultimate in partner yoga. It brings yoga to the present moment allowing you to built trust and communication with your partner. Just watching it brings a sense of freedom and transformation, so imagine what it's like to do!
Check out this footage of my friends Stephanie, Chris and Dez goofing off in the studio. If you ever want to try Acro Yoga, Stephanie Green is constantly playing and hosting workshops at her downtown Nanaimo studio, OmTown Yoga. Give her a call!
